The three weeks I spent at Outward Bound in January 2018 changed my life. I arrived at Outward Bound with very little self-confidence and emerged an adventurer!
From mid-November 2018 until mid-late January 2019 I am walking the South Island section of the the Te Araroa Trail, with some of the Southland section substituted for backcountry in the Olivine Wilderness Area and Mt. Aspiring National Park. This entails 75 days and thousands of kilometres of glorious adventure, proving to myself every single day that I can go further than I ever imagined. On this journey, I will be raising money for the Outward Bound Trust, to give others the opportunity to embark on a life-changing Outward Bound course and become adventurers – a generation that wakes up with a purpose, and passionately cares for the land in which we live.
Help me empower others to do something bold, something powerful and something that makes a change for the better in our world.
You can do this using the 'Give Now' button. Your donation will support a vulnerable young person in receiving a scholarship to attend Outward Bound.
The more people that know about Outward Bound Trust of New Zealand, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
